I’ll start with the positive aspects of the book. What I will say before starting this review is that this is my own personal opinion, and what may make me feel uncomfortable, may not necessarily bother you. The content and premise of the story is definitely important and should be talked about more in YA books, but there were some parts of the book that did make me feel quite uncomfortable. To be completely honest, I don’t know how I feel about Always Forever Maybe. With a love like this, nothing else matters. Because Jo doesn’t see how good Aiden is for Betts. Destined to become an us.īetts has only ever kept one secret from her best friend, Jo, but suddenly there’s a long list of things she won’t tell her, things Jo wouldn’t understand. Betts already knows the two of them are infinite. When Betts meets Aiden at the candy store where she works, their connection is like a sugar rush to the heart. *Trigger warnings – emotional and physical abuse, toxic relationships, gaslighting, manipulation* I would like to thank Shrina at Harper Teen for sending me a copy of this book, and of course the author, Anica Mrose Rissi. All views are my own and are not influenced by receiving a copy of this book. I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. Not fully spoiler Free, I do talk about aspects of the book in some detail.
